A New Beginning: Second Chance Animal Rescue Grand Reopening

In 2024, Second Chance Animal Rescue was forced to close its doors after toxic mold made our shelter unsafe. What followed was a journey none of us expected—a journey filled with uncertainty, challenges, hard work, and countless people who refused to let Second Chance disappear.

Now, after two years of rebuilding, we’re ready to come home.

On October 3rd from 1–4 p.m., Second Chance Animal Rescue will officially reopen its doors, and we want our entire community to be there to celebrate this incredible new beginning with us.

Our new shelter is more than a building. It represents hope, second chances, and a promise to the animals who need us most. It represents everything our supporters, volunteers, donors, staff, and community have helped make possible.

To celebrate, we’re throwing a party! 🎉

Join us for an afternoon filled with local vendors, food, family-friendly activities, and plenty of fun as we celebrate the return of Second Chance Animal Rescue.
