Welcoming a New Vision for Second Chance Animal Rescue

Please join us in welcoming our new Shelter Director, Michelle Karolicki!

We are thrilled to welcome Michelle to the Second Chance Animal Rescue team as we prepare to reopen our doors and begin this exciting new chapter.

Michelle brings 25 years of experience in animal welfare. She spent six years with OK Humane, served with the ASPCA managing a national animal transport program that helped thousands of animals find new opportunities, and has led field services and placement programs for a large municipal shelter.

Beyond her impressive experience, Michelle is passionate about improving the lives of pets and the people who love them. At home, she stays busy with her partner, two children, four dogs, and a three-legged cat who keep life entertaining!

We are so excited to have Michelle leading our team as we build toward reopening and serving our community for years to come.
